EXTERIOR FIRE RETARDANT WOOD PRODUCTS

   For those specifications that call for a fire retardant lumber and fire retardant plywood that will have exposure to the elements or high humidity condition, Flame Safe X-T is the product of choice.

   In addition to passing the ASTM E84 test for surface burning characteristics, which all fire retardant lumber bearing a Class A. Type 1 FRS stamp must pass, Flame Safe X-T has also been tested under the ASTM D2898 accelerated weathering (rain).

   Applications such as exterior decks, balconies, stairs or siding are notable examples of where Flame Safe X-T would be the logical choice.

   Additionally, Flame Safe X-T is rot and decay resistant and may be specified with a water repellent if so desired, Flame Safe X-T has a clear finish which can be stained with a water based stain or painted with a latex based paint.

   Flame Safe X-T fire retardant lumber and plywood is manufactured at our Fort Worth, Texas fire retardant treatment facility. Specialty fire retardant treatments are available with lengths up to 40'.
